This was my first subscription box! It’s my birthday tomorrow so I treated myself to the mystery subscription box. I only paid around £40 and thought it was really good value for money. I had the autumn essential oil to put in my new diffuser and it’s so cosy. The candle is lovely and calming with the lavender, it is also aesthetically pleasing on my side board. I am excited for my next box next month, hoping to trial a reed diffuser soon.
I am in love with this gorgeous candle. It smells divine, which fills the whole room and it is so pretty to look at. I am definitely going to be buying the larger version! If you want a candle that looks as good as it smells, would definitely recommend you try Embers Candle Company.

**Fresh Autumn** When unlit, this candle smells intensely of cinnamon, which made me a little wary of lighting it. However, once burning, the cinnamon isn't overpowering at all. The other fragrance I can detect is cedarwood, and the two make a lovely combination. I can't detect any lavender or ylang ylang, which is a bit of a shame, as I was looking forward to all four scents being more evenly balanced and individually recognisable.
**Embers – Ylang Ylang, Patchouli & Bergamot** **Top marks:** Quality of the product, beautiful appearance and natural ingredients with no nasties. **Downsides:** I had planned to use this candle in my bedroom, but of the three fragrances, bergamot is overwhelmingly dominant, accounting for what seems like 98% of the scent. There's a hint of patchouli, but no detectable ylang ylang. As a result, the fragrance is too sharp and energising for my intended use. I'll be moving it to the bathroom instead.
I decided to give Embers a try as I can only use natural products, and ordered three different fragrances. So far, I've only tried Black Pepper, Rose & Cedarwood, and I absolutely love it! Such a beautiful, gorgeous scent. It's still early days, so I'm yet to see how well the wick performs and whether the candle burns evenly right to the end. The shop owner is also lovely, very responsive and genuinely goes the extra mile to help. I'm absolutely delighted to have discovered these natural candles, and it's especially nice to support a small British business!

I’ve just used my Embers candle for the first time. 1 hour later and my room smells incredible, soft and delicate smell, not overpowering but most of all it smells heavenly. I will certainly be purchasing again.
I bought a few of the larger candles and they smell absolutely divine. They burn well and really do fill the room with the most heavenly fragrance. The autumn bundle candles are really warming & cosy in smell, I can't decide which one I love the most as they all smell incredible

Smells amazing
I saw these candles on display locally and thought they smelt amazing. Finally decided to order 3, all of which I can say are beautiful! The scent is truly authentic and plentiful , very well balanced and a joy to look at. My only problem is that I ordered the small size by mistake. I’ve just placed another order immediately for the larger sizes. They are so much better than many other mass marketed candles both in cost and scent payoff. I cannot praise them enough! Support your brilliant small independent businesses!

Beautiful candles with a divine scent (and that’s before they’ve been lit). Sadly one was damaged in transit but this was quickly rectified and a replacement was speedily despatched.

Great smell, although I’m not a fan of wooden wicks. I couldn’t get them to burn the whole candle. I think I will try the melts next as the smell is gorgeous.
Amazing fragrance & elegant
My package arrived perfectly packaged. It smelt amazing the minute I opened the box. Inside were two beautiful candles in very lovey cases. The wax melts are in a separate sleeve. I've used both the candles and the wax melts and can confirm they smell as good as they look

I really love the scent but slightly disappointed that the wooden wick make rather a mess of the surface of the candle when trimming it down. Only reason for not having given 5 stars.
